The Browning Jacket is Back - Now Upgraded to the “Nordwind WR” Series

The NordwindWR (water resistant) series is an elevated line of performance-driven technical outerwear. Cut-and-sewn with uncompromising standards by the same production teams that create pieces for Arc’Teryx & Stone Glacier.

THE JACKET:

The Browning Jacket was originally launched in 2022 as the quintessential “cargo” jacket - featuring 4 zippered front pockets, 2 non-zippered hand pockets, and 1 zippered back pocket.

Its latest upgrade to the Nordwind Series has now added the following features:

• DWR Coated Water Resistance 💧

• 2-Way Stretch has been upgraded to 4-Way Stretch

• All zippers have been upgraded to YKK AquaGuard® rubberized zippers for water resistance.

• Velcro cuff tab adjustment has been upgraded from fabric to Hypalon/HANK material.

The Browning Jacket also features bungee-lock adjustable waist and hood.

THE PATTERN:

The Desert Camouflage Uniform (DCU) is an arid-environment camouflage uniform that was used by the United States Armed Forces from the mid-1990s to the early 2010s. The camo pattern is commonly associated with the early years of Operation Iraqi Freedom from 2003-2006, where it was then replaced in the US Army and Marine Corps with UCP & MARPAT respectively.

It was notably used for longer by SOF units such as SFOD-D & The Navy Seals, lasting into at least the 2010s.
