BLOG: Safari Collection Pt. II (Drops 8/18)
The Safari Continues - Season II of the collection.
“A safari (/səˈfɑːri/; from Swahili safari 'journey originally from the Arabic word 'Safar' meaning 'to journey' ') is an overland journey to observe wild animals, especially in eastern or southern Africa.”
This follow-up collection focuses on vivid, unique camo patterns such as Zaire Leopard (used in what is now Congo), as well as a few camos that are European in origin that have seen adoption and usage in militaries throughout Africa.
These include British DPM (used by Kenya, Botswana, Lesotho, and others) and East German Strichtarn Raindrop Camo (used historically by South Africa Defence Force).
We also included a fun, house-invented version of the Zaire Leopard camo called “Leopard Blue” - taking the colors from Saudi Blue Choco Chip camo and applying it to the Leopard Camo design.
